KeyShot 2024 – What´s new – Details
Image Sharpening
- KeyShot 2024 introduces a new image style option called Image Sharpening.
- With Image Sharpening, you can create crisp images with enhanced details.
- Control the Intensity to make dark edges darker and light edges brighter.
- Adjust the Radius, which determines the distance outside the sharpened edges where the effect is applied.
- Sharper images will also be reflected in the KeyShot Web Viewer.
KeyShot Web Viewer Upgrades
- KeyShot Web Viewer, a popular add-on, now offers improved responsiveness.
- Users have the option (not requirement) to include 3D scenes for uploading.
Faster GPU Mode
- KeyShot’s GPU Mode, using the Optix framework from NVidia, has been updated to version 8.
- Internal testing shows performance improvements of up to 25%, with a median improvement of around 12%.
Color Library Updates
- KeyShot 2024 includes the 2024 RAL version and updates to other third-party color libraries.
Quality Updates
- Updated importers now support Rhino 8, Catia V6 / 3DExperience 3D Read: R2024x, Solid Edge 3D Read: 2024, SOLIDWORKS 3D Read: 2024, and UG NX 3D Read: NX 2306 Series (until 2306.7000).
- Scene compression results in smaller file sizes (up to 33%) and faster saving times (up to 10%).
