If you are not familiar with how to help your children login to Google Classroom, please follow the directions below.
If you are on a computer go to gmail.com and have your child log in to their school email. In the upper right corner you will see 9 dots (3 rows of 3) or a waffle shape. Click on the dots and a new menu will pop up. Scroll down until you see the icon "Classroom" which is green with a gold border, and click on the Classroom icon. If you have not used Classroom before, it will ask you to verify your child's email address and click accept. In the upper right corner of the screen, near the colored circle with your child's initial, you will see a plus (+) sign. Please click the plus (+) sign and select join class, enter the class code the classroom teacher assigned to them and follow the directions on the screen. If they already signed in to Google Classroom at school, they will NOT have to enter the classroom code again at home.
If you are on an iPad, click on the Classroom icon for Google. It shows a green chalkboard with gold trim. Next tap the Get Started button. Sign in with the student's school email address and password. On the notifications announcements, click Allow. Next, click the plus (+) in the lower right corner and then click join class. When prompted, enter the class code and follow the instructions on the screen.
Parents: Please do not use your personal emails to sign up in Google Classroom for your students. They must use their own school email. If you are not sure what it is, email me or call me from the information below. I will respond as soon as possible.
