Accessing Google Classroom on a Home Computer
Dear Parents,
I have been asked to post directions to explain how students may access their Google Classroom activities on a home computer. These directions will work with a Windows based computer, Apple Mac computer, or a Google Chromebook.
1. If you are on a computer go to gmail.com in your web browser and have your child log in to their school email. Their email address should be their firstname.lastname@rollinghills.k12.oh.us
2. In the upper right corner you will see 9 dots (3 rows of 3) or a waffle shape. Click on the dots and a new menu will pop up.
3. Scroll down until you see the icon "Classroom" which is green with a gold border, and click on the Classroom icon. If you have not used Classroom before on this computer, it will ask you to verify the student's email address and click accept. The student should know their email password if it is asked for.
Parents: Please do not use your personal emails to sign up in Google Classroom for your students. They must use their own school email. If you are not sure what it is please email me.
